Our second annual Next Level Dinner will be held on Sunday, November 12th at 6:30pm. This will be a night of opportunity, expectation and vision that we're trusting God to use to set the trajectory of our lives and our church for the next 12 months. This event is for anyone who calls New Life home.

Our first-ever LACE conference is on Saturday, October 21st, from 2pm-8pm at New Life. It is set to be an incredible event and will feature:
-Pre-recorded Pink Impact video sessions featuring Christine Caine, Charlotte Gambill and Priscilla Shirer
-Small group sessions - There will be 5 different sessions to choose from plus the main event session!

Joni is ordained with the International Assemblies of God. She has ministered for the past 22 years in the areas of facilitating/teaching/mentoring married couples as well as ministering to women through retreats, seminars, and teaching classes on how to become all God has called us women to be in living a life of victory in Christ.
We are already gearing up for our Winter/Spring Semester of Small Groups! After 135+ signed up to be involved in community, our need for leaders has increased! If you've ever considered leading a small group - this meeting is your on-ramp to getting involved! Join us in the Community Room as we dive into what it looks like to lead others into life-changing community.
Pastor Allan and his family have made a lasting impression on our church, community, and the mission field. Pastor Appreciation Sunday is our opportunity to celebrate him and to show how much we value his heart and his impact on our church. We will be taking up a special offering for Pastor Allan that Sunday and we want to personally invite you to take part in honoring him and his family.
The men's and women's Bible studies (everyone else is welcome too!) will join together in the Community Room for these once a month gatherings. These nights will be a time of free-flow worship & prayer ministry w/ Pastor Allan, Dr. Thomason and Lori Thomason.
NL Students and NL Kids will keep to their regular schedules on those Wednesday nights.
Three times a year the Connect Team comes together to celebrate what God has done, cast vision for the next season, and to celebrate the efforts of the team. If you serve in any capacity on the Connect Team - please join us for this evening of community, delicious refreshments, and announcements about upcoming events! Childcare is provided.

Our NL “Nights of Worship” are opportunities for extended times of prayer and worship in God’s Presence. This particular evening will include guest worship leaders and a message focused on the heart of worship. Childcare is provided for ages 5 and under. Kids age 6 and up are encouraged to join students and adults in the worship experience. Doors open at 6p.
“Back-to-School Bash” is one of the biggest events of the year in NL Students. We kick the fall off in an exciting way with the vision of connecting as many students as possible in a high-energy environment with community, activities and food in preparation of our powerful new sermon series beginning the week after. Students show up by 6:30 and the night ends at 8:30.
Group Launch is your "on-ramp" to joining a small group. This event provides the opportunity to meet all of the small group leaders and choose the group that's right for you. We know joining a group can seem intimidating at first, but this event makes joining a group easy and exciting. Group Launch takes place immediately following second service (12:30pm). *Lunch and Childcare are provided.*

“Step Up” is our celebration for rising 6th graders. We host a “Step Up” Event from 6pm – 6:45pm in the LEAD room with rising 6th graders and their parents. This is a time for both students and parents to hear the vision of NL Students, know what to expect and ask any questions. Key leaders from the ministry will be in attendance to connect with each student and pizza will be provided! In the service that same evening, we will be celebrating these rising 6th graders on stage and parents are invited to attend and observe what a night in NL Students looks like.
This info meeting is for current NL Kids volunteers, prospective volunteers and parents who have kids in the ministry. Pastor Brian is going to talk about the various roles within children’s ministry where people can serve, cast a vision for the direction of the ministry going into the 2017-2018 school year and also talk about our safety and security policies. It will also be a chance for people to get to know Pastor Brian and his heart for families and to have a little fun!
Kids are welcome to come too, though there will not be any programming or childcare.
This meeting will take place in the Downtown Room.
We will be having a Back-to-School Pep Rally for all of our New Life ladies on Wednesday, July 19 from 6:30-8:30pm!
Bring a finger food to share with friends. We will supply the drinks and dessert.

Young at Heart is holding a luncheon immediately after service on Sunday, June 25th, in the Connect Team room. YAH will be providing ice, drinks, dessert and paper goods. All you need to bring is a sack lunch!
The mission of the Young at Heart is to engage adults (55+) at New Life Church and the community to live out the Gospel through preaching, worship, teaching, witnessing and fellowship.
This life-changing conference is geared toward middle and high school students and is packed with incredible music, such as Hillsong United, and impassioned speakers, such as Christine Caine. You do not want your student to miss it!
NL Students will be staying in host homes for this conference and transportation and most meals are included.
Registration is only $140 until April 30th and after that the price goes up to $150. The deadline to pay is May 10th!

Movie: "In Our Hands"
This movie produced by Christian Broadcasting Corporation will have a one-night showing on May 23rd at 7:00pm at the AMC Theater on Reinhardt Blvd. in Canton. This movie outlines what the true facts are in Israel's retaking of all of the old city of Jerusalem in the 1967 war.
You don't want to miss this important story of God's move in modern Israel. The cost of the movie is $13.50. Plan to meet us at the Cracker Barrel on Riverstone in Canton at 4:30pm for dinner and fellowship. Meeting at this time will allow us to have plenty of time to have dinner and fellowship before we go to the movie. Join us for this fun time.
Ralph Barker, Director of the North Georgia Pregnancy Center will be our guest speaker on May 20th at Church in the Connect Team Room (formerly room 104) at 5:00pm. He will be telling us about the mission and needs of the Center, as well as the help we can be involved in at the Center. All adults who has an interest in the work and ministry of North Georgia Pregnancy Center in Jasper are invited. Light refreshments will be available at the end of the discussion.
